Our range of services for kids and the fam are pretty impressive if we do say so ourselves, and we even have a librarian who specialises in young peoples’ services.
Junior Library
Our exciting Caterpillar Corner will delight with its “Junior Kindy” reads. As your child progresses, they can head to the “Beginner Reader Collection” and then onto the big smoke – “Junior Fiction".
Why not give our friendly library team a book review of your favourite read? That way, other kids can see the coolest books in town. Search for your favourite books via the Library Catalogue.

Baby Rhyme Time
Bond with your baby and get them on the path to Einstein cleverness with our ever-popular Rhyme Time sessions. Packed with fun songs and nursery rhymes that meet the standards of the scientifically-based Better Beginnings Program, your child will get a head start in literacy and vocab.
For children under 18 months.
Monday and Thursday mornings: 10.00am to 10.30am
Storytime
Designed for toddlers, your child will love to listen to an exciting tale followed by a simple activity.
Monday and Thursday mornings: 10.45am to 11.30am
School holiday boredom-busters
Every school holiday we put on free events that are not just fun, but educational. Yes, it’s free, and yes, anyone can come. However, you must book to secure a place as the program fills up fast.
Activities usually run 10am - 11am on Tuesday mornings during school holidays, and you can check out the up-coming activities over at Events. Alternatively, subscribe to The Vine Newsletter for the latest library news.

Who knew there was such a thing as an online reading room? Well, we did, and we’re going to share it with you. Story Box Library is a visually beautiful site where kids can explore the magical world of children’s literature. Here, kids are connected with literature that’s complemented by film, offering them a vibrant, interactive experience as told by some recognisable storytellers.
