e-scooters
Find out about using e-scooters in the City Vincent, including the status of the City's shared e-scooter trial and information about riding safely and legally.
Riding your own e-scooter
If you ride your own e-scooter or other eRideable, you must follow the Western Australian road rules. These include where you can ride, speed limits, equipment requirements and safety responsibilities.
For more information, visit the Road Safety Commission's eRideables page.
Hire e-scooter trial
The City of Vincent's shared hire e-scooter trial is currently suspended while the service is being reviewed.
Hireable e-scooters operated by Neuron Mobility and Beam are not currently available within the City.
The trial was suspended on 6 June 2025 following the suspension of the neighbouring City of Perth's e-scooter scheme after a fatal accident. During the review, the City is considering the operation of the trial and potential safety improvements before deciding on the future of the service.
