North Perth Precinct Transport Study
The City of Vincent is undertaking the North Perth Precinct Transport Study to support the area’s growth and increasing population, while maintaining the precinct’s amenity, character and planned vision.
The study will help ensure the transport network can safely and efficiently support future development and higher residential density.
The study will identify opportunities to improve safety and accessibility across the precinct. This includes slowing traffic and enhancing the pedestrian environment along Fitzgerald Street, improving cycling connections and developing a coordinated approach to traffic calming on local residential streets. It will also assess the transport impacts of future growth and support advocacy for improved public transport along Fitzgerald Street.
Background
The North Perth Precinct Transport Study has been developed in conjunction with the North Perth Town Centre Planning Framework. This ensures transport planning aligns with the long-term vision for the area and supports future growth.
