Guests will settle into the cosy hearth of Bar Love for a cosy Makuru afternoon of reading and sound.

Bar Love will be shaking cocktails and dishing out nibbles all afternoon.

Then from 4.30 pm, you are invited to join us for the social mixer of the season - the Speed Date for Readers'.

How it works:

You will have 3 minutes to pitch your book to a stranger, chat about the themes and ideas you've encountered, discover hidden gems, make friends, and even find your next read!

Then—we rotate!

Our emcee for the afternoon will be the charming and effervescent, Morgan Clementine.
