Vincent reintroduces first hour free parking

From 3 July, the City of Vincent will be bringing back first hour free in all carparks, except for The Avenue and Frame Court carparks in Leederville.

After a move to $1 for the first hour in major carparks last year, Vincent will be reintroducing first hour free in all carparks, except for the two carparks in Leederville as part of the 2023/24 fees and charges.

There will also be a drop in the base rate from $3.20 to $2.50 in the Barlee Street, Chelmsford Road, Raglan Road, View Street, Rosemount Hotel, Wasley Street and Brisbane Street carparks.

The key changes in the parking rates for this financial year are:

•         Applying dynamic parking rates of ~30 per cent +/- for peak and off-peak periods.

•         Reintroduce first hour free for all District Centre carparks.

•         Reduce base rate for District Centre carparks from $3.20 to $2.50.

•         Increase of 10c per hour to kerbside parking.

•         Increase of 10c per hour in Secondary Centre carparks.

Vincent is working on a system where ratepayers can have access to first hour free in The Avenue and Frame Court carparks in Leederville. More information will be available in the coming months.
