Fitness for all abilities at Britannia Reserve

The City of Vincent has installed brand-new exercise equipment at Britannia Road Reserve, offering a fresh opportunity for residents of all ages and abilities to enjoy outdoor fitness.

This upgraded equipment aligns with an action from our Public Open Space Strategy, to provide accessible, high-quality recreational spaces for our community.

Located within the turfed area that connects Britannia Road Reserve and Brentham Street Reserve, the new equipment replaces the old facilities with a modern, versatile range of fitness options. Special attention has been given to ensuring the equipment is suitable for everyone.

The equipment includes six stations offering a variety of features to support a wide range of exercises, such as balance boards, surface challenges, stairs and steps, a flex wheel, and more.

A standout feature of the new setup is the inclusion of QR codes on each piece of equipment. These QR codes link directly to an easy-to-use mobile app, providing step-by-step instructions and helpful tips on how to use each piece effectively and safely. This makes the equipment intuitive and accessible, even for those new to fitness.

Whether you are focusing on strength, balance, coordination, or flexibility, there is something for everyone.
