Inclusion in action at Unstoppable Youth Week event

Our big Youth Week celebration, Unstoppable, was a hit with young people and their families at Braithwaite Park last week.

The day was packed with fun, sports, and creativity. Perth's best inclusive service providers including TADWA (Freedom Wheels), Circus WA, Mission Australia, VisAbility, and Deaf Connect offered engaging experiences and resources for attendees, creating an open and welcoming environment for all.

Unstoppable was all about bringing young people together, including those with disability along with their families, friends and supports. It was fantastic to see so many people try new experiences like circus tricks, riding bikes customised for people with disability, and football for all abilities.

Thank you to the many service providers who made the day a success:

  • All Abilities Football

  • Ability Gym

  • Periscope Crew

  • Climbwell

  • CircusWA

  • TADWA – Freedom Wheels

  • Mission Australia

  • VisAbility

  • Deaf Connect

  • All Abilities Footy

  • Senses WA

  • Cahoots

  • Picnic on Swan

  • Boom Events

  • Sexual Health Quarters

Youth Week WA is Western Australia’s largest annual celebration of young people aged 10 to 25. It’s an opportunity to express ideas, raise important issues, create entertainment and celebrate young people’s contribution to the community.
