About this event:

Participants will explore waste items that may typically be thrown away, and come up with creative designs to repurpose materials to make a "Junk Bug" to take home. This workshop allows children to investigate different material properties and how they can be pieced together without any need for glue or sticky tape! The materials are sourced from and supplied by local creative reuse business, ReMida.

  • Free event however registation is required. 

  • Please only register for your child's ticket, an adult to accompany the child/children during the event. 

  • The minimum age to participate is 5 years, children will be using scissors.

  • Please note that priority for this workshop will be given to City of Vincent residents. 

  • Photography will be conducted at this event. Please advise staff if you do not wish to be included in photos that may be used for promotional purposes.

Please note parents/guardians must accompany and supervise their children during this workshop. Parents are also encouraged to join in to assist their children during the workshop and have fun coming up with creative designs to make your own "junk bug".
