National Reconciliation Week is a time for all of us to learn more about our shared histories, cultures and achievements and to reflect on the role we each play in supporting reconciliation in Australia.
Recognised every year from 27 May to 3 June, the week marks two important moments in our national story: the 1967 referendum and the High Court Mabo decision.
Here in Vincent we will be marking National Reconciliation Week with a series of free events that celebrate the history, culture achievements and stories of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
We invite you to keep reconciliation in your heart, mind and everyday actions as we continue working together to build strong respectful relationships across our community.
