Road resurfacing works

The City of Vincent will be undertaking road resurfacing works throughout March.

Dalmeny Street, Perth

As part of the 2022/23 Capital Works program, profiling and asphalting works will take place on Dalmeny Street, Perth on 9 March, from 8pm to 6am, weather permitting.

Parking on both sides of Dalmeny Street will be banned from 5am on 9 March through to the morning of 10 March.

Southbound lanes of Guildford Road from East Parade and the intersection of Walcott Street Guildford Road/Lord Street, Mt Lawley

Profiling and asphalting of the southbound lanes of Guildford Road from East Parade and the entire intersection of Walcott Street Guildford Road/Lord Street will occur over two nights from 8pm to 6am on 1 and 2 March, weather permitting.

Works will start at East Parade and finish on the second night at the intersection of Walcott Street intersection.

Parking on both sides of Guildford Road, Lord Street and Walcott Street will be banned throughout the work dates.

Please note profiling works are loud and may cause some dust.

Residents are advised to ensure windows are closed and evaporative air conditioners are not in use while profiling works are being completed.

Access to residents and businesses will be restricted during the works.

While access to properties and businesses will be restricted during these operations, access will be restored at the end of each shift.

Intersection of Vincent Street and Oxford Street and Oxford Street from Vincent Street to Richmond Street, Leederville

The City has planned road rehabilitation works at the intersection of Vincent Street and Oxford Street and Oxford Street, from Vincent Street to Richmond Street.

Before asphalting works, the City will be rectifying sections of damaged kerbing on median islands and tree wells along Oxford Street. These works are scheduled to be conducted on 4 March and 11 March, from 7am to mid-afternoon.

To undertake these works, the City will be undertaking a full road closure northbound on Oxford Street from Vincent Street to Richmond Street and implementing a southbound lane closure from Richmond Street to Vincent Street.

All parking on Oxford Street from Vincent Street to Richmond Street will be banned on these dates.

Profiling and asphalting of the intersection of Vincent Street and Oxford Street and Oxford Street from Vincent Street to Richmond Street will occur over three consecutive nights, from 20 March to 22 March, from 8pm to 6am, weather permitting.

The intersection of Vincent Street and Oxford Street will be closed to all vehicles from Leederville Parade to Loftus Street and from Newcastle Street to Melrose Street on the night of 20 March.

Works on Oxford Street from Vincent Street to Richmond Street will be undertaken from 21 March to 22 March and will only require closure from Vincent Street to Bourke Street, with the intersection of Vincent and Oxford to remain open on those dates.

To enable the works to proceed, parking will be banned within the works zone.

The work zone will be closed to traffic during those times.

While access to properties and businesses will be restricted during these operations, access will be restored at the end of each shift.
