We are resurfacing the path along the river at Warndoolier (Banks Reserve) between the carpark off Joel Terrace and Summers Street. Known as Tony di Scerni Pathway, the path is a major cycle route into the city along the Swan River.

The project will improve safety by creating a smoother surface for pedestrians and cyclists visiting the popular reserve. It follows a major upgrade of the earlier section of this path, nearer to Maylands, in late 2023.

Works are planned to take place on Monday 28 and Tuesday 29 April, weather permitting.  

Detours

Detours will be in place to help cyclists and pedestrians move safely around the works.

The path will be closed from 7am and reopen at the end of each day when work is complete.

We will have a traffic management team on site while work is taking place to direct people.
