Local Area Traffic Management Policy

The City of Vincent is inviting community feedback on its draft Local Area Traffic Management (LATM) Policy.

The policy establishes a framework for how we assess, respond to and prioritise safety concerns across Vincent.

It ensures traffic management decisions are informed by credible evidence, including crash history, traffic volumes, speed data and warrant assessments.

It will also help prioritise investment in locations with the highest documented safety risks, ensuring limited resources are directed where they are needed most.

The LATM Policy supports the City’s commitment to improving road safety outcomes and aligns with the Safe System approach outlined in the State Government’s Driving Change Strategy 2020–2030 and the City’s Road Safety Management Plan.

Visit Imagine Vincent to find out more and have your say.

Consultation closes 4pm Monday, 15 June 2026.
