  • Certificate of Incorporation (if applying as an organisation)
  • Public Liability Insurance (if applying as an organisation)
  • Full budget detailing expenditure (e.g catering, road closure costs if you are organising your own, etc)

Before applying for funding via the Open Streets Grants, please make sure you have completed all the steps for your Open Streets Events Application to go with this funding application (neighbour permission, road closure application, submitting your event details etc).

Recognition of Council Funding and Contractual Requirements

When you are successful in receiving a grant from the City of Vincent, you are required to acknowledge the support of the City for its financial support as follows:

  • Include the City on all promotional material in a prominent place, for example on posters, flyers, web page graphics, media releases, advertisements and footage (if applicable).
  • Use the City of Vincent logo in accordance with our style guide in publicity of any kind (including brochures, signage, advertising, and invitations).
  • Acknowledge the City in all public announcements and any written material.
  • Acknowledge the City in your organisation’s annual report (if applicable).
  • Provide photographs from your event.
  • Provide copies of media articles and social media posts (if applicable).
  • Tag @cityofvincent in every social media post and email so we can help cross-promote your event on our channels (if applicable).
  • As per the City of Vincent Welcome to Country Policy , a Welcome or Acknowledgement of Country may be required for this project. You should contact the Community Partnerships team to determine the correct acknowledgement, if any, for your project.
  • Complete an evaluation form (provided by the City of Vincent).
  • Submit receipts for all expenditure as per the approved grant application.

By submitting this application, I confirm that:

  • If my application is successful, I will ensure recognition of council funding/contractual requirements as mentioned above.
  • At the completion of the event I will provide an evaluation within 8 weeks.
