As part of Children’s Week, we’re inviting young locals to show us the best thing about being a kid in Vincent. Using an A4 sheet of paper, children aged 5–12 can paint, draw or collage their favourite places, activities or moments in our community.

Winners will receive a $50 local bookstore voucher, have their artwork printed on library bags, showcased on social media, and framed for display.

Children’s Week WA is a national celebration of children, their rights and their right to a happy, healthy childhood.

> Join our Kids in Vincent Art Session Tuesday 7 October 2025 | 10.30am – 12pm | Vincent Library | Free | Registration required > Create your artwork at the Library Art packs will be available to use during the October school holidays.

> Make it at home Drop your artwork off at the Library before 15 October.

Competition open 15 September until 15 October 2025.

Age categories 5-8 and 9-12.

All entries will be displayed at the Library during Children’s Week.
