Donations - Guidelines and Criteria
Not-for-profit organisations and charities located in or servicing the City of Vincent community are eligible for donations up to $500.
The applicant must identify the specific community need or benefit based upon local research or consultation.
Eligibility
- Applicants must be a not-for-profit community organisation OR a registered charity with the Australian Taxation Office
- The project, program or service must take place within the City's boundaries
- The project, program or service must provide benefit to City of Vincent residents or the City of Vincent community
- Applicants can only receive funding once per financial year
The following will not be considered for funding:
- Groups, organisations or projects that operate with the aim of making a profit
- Any activity, event or program that contravenes Council’s existing policies
- The bond associated with the use of community facilities
- Retrospective funding
- Projects that target upgrades of non-City property
Key dates
You can submit your applications for a donation all year round, or until the funding sources are exhausted. You should submit your application at least four weeks before your project is due to commence and applicants should allow two weeks to process a donation application. Late submissions may be accepted at the City’s sole discretion.
