Notice is hereby given that the City of Vincent has prepared a planning scheme amendment for changes to Local Planning Scheme No.2.

At the 18 October 2022 Ordinary Meeting of Council, Council voted to prepare the proposed scheme amendment for community consultation.

The amendment introduces a Special Control Area on the airspace of the emergency helicopter flightpath to the Royal Perth Hospital.

This will limit the development potential for number of landholdings by imposing heights limits between 70ADH and 95 ADH (17 to 23 storeys).

The flight path alignment is proposed to be protected by an amendment to the local planning schemes of City of Perth and City of Vincent.
