NOONGAR SIX SEASONS | MAKURU 💧

Over the next 12 months, we will be holding a series of free workshops to celebrate each of the Noongar Six Seasons. Marissa Verma from Bindi Bindi Dreaming will explore the Six Seasons and show how Noongar people lived by the Six Season calendar.

In this workshop, Marissa will share her knowledge about the Noongar Season Makuru. The coldest and wettest time of year, Makuru runs from June - July and was traditionally the time Noongar people move back inland and away from the coast.
