Earth Carer’s Course

Registrations are now open for the FREE Earth Carer Course with Mindarie Regional Council, beginning Wednesday 7 August, with 5 sessions over 4 weeks.
The course includes site visits, tours, information sessions, practical hints and tips - all about facing our waste.
The course overview:
- Definition and history of waste;
- How we deal with waste in Perth and how your local government manages waste in your neighbourhood;
- Reducing, reusing and recycling options;
- Tour of landfill site, recycling centre and composting facility;
- Demonstrations of reusing organics including worm farming, composting and small space composting;
- How to communicate the responsible waste message to others.
