Open Street Event Requirements
Step 1 - Contact our Community Partnerships Team
Now that you’ve determined that your event classifies as an Open Streets Event, we can help you start organising.
Please contact our Community Development Team first, before starting your application. Call 9273 6000 or email community.development@vincent.wa.gov.au
Step 2 - Ask your Neighbours for Permission
Ask your neighbours for permission. If you need to close your street for your event, you will need approval from a 2/3 majority of the people on your street.
To help you out, we have created an occupier (neighbour) consent form and notification form for you to use.
Step 3 - Complete the Order for Road Closure Application
Download and complete the Application for Order for Road Closure.

Contact the City with your occupiers consent form and Application for Road Closure so we can sign your Application for Order for Road Closure and submit it to WA Police.
Step 4 - Upload and Complete the Online Application Form
Now that you have all the documents prepared, it’s time to submit your final plans to us.
