JOY Artists Collective

JOY Artists Collective is a team of local creatives, including Jacqui Britto, Oliver Kellow, Iwan Isnin and Yang Yang Lee.

The group comes from an array of different disciplines and works together to experiment and test ideas for simply joy, the playfulness of creating interaction and discourse within communities and amongst members of the public. Their array of skills interplay and jostle to produce hybrid works of public art: interactive, digital and the physical.

JOY focuses on creating works that engage public participants and audience interaction, resulting in a subjective experience enriching 'place making' in Perth. You can see their latest mural, which reflects the challenges facing the community after COVID-19, on the corner of Fitzgerald and Wasley Streets in North Perth.
