Linton and Kay Galleries presents ‘Stories of Country’

Linton and Kay Galleries is excited to be participating in this important, nation-wide celebration of the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples by hosting an exhibition titled ‘Stories Of Country’, with a carefully curated selection of paintings by artists from across Australia that reference ancient sites and stories of country. Artists include Willy Tjungurrayi, Barney Ellaga, Kudditji Kmgwarretye, Mitjili Napurrula, Nellie Marks Nakamarra, Alice Nampitjinpa, Dorothy Napangardi, Tatali Naparrula, Maggie Yilpi, Lily Kelly Napangardi, George Ward Tjungurrayi and others. 

Stories of Country will commence on 31 October, a week prior to NAIDOC week, and conclude at the end of NAIDOC week on 15 November. It will be held at our newly renovated West Perth Gallery, 11 Old Aberdeen Place, West Perth.
