Transport Advisory Group

The City of Vincent is inviting nominations from community members to join its Transport Advisory Group for the period from February 2026 to October 2027.

Transport was previously included in the Sustainability and Transport Advisory Group but at the November 2025 Council meeting, it was resolved to form a standalone Transport Advisory Group (TAG).

We are seeking up to ten (10) community members with qualifications, expertise or experience in transport planning, traffic engineering, road safety, active transport or accessibility.

The TAG will provide strategic, community-informed insights to support Vincent’s long-term transport planning and decision-making.

Its objectives include to:

  • Enhance the effectiveness of the Accessible City Strategy Major Review (scheduled for 2026).
  • Provide strategic advice on the City’s transport plans and policies.
  • Bring lived experience into strategic transport discussions.
  • Support community alignment and transparent decision-making.
  • Strengthen Council’s understanding of strategic transport issues.
