Please join Marissa Verma from Bindi Bindi Dreaming for this free community workshop aimed at sharing information regarding the Noongar Six Seasons. Free bush food catering will be provided to attendees by Bindi Bindi Dreaming.
During this workshop, Marissa will share her knowledge about the Noongar Season, Djilba. Djilba runs from August - September and is a transitional time of the year. The season transition is evident through the variable conditions of cold, rainy and windy days and others where the sun comes through. This season is the start of the flowering season and the main source of food include many of the land based grazing animals.
