Wear It Purple Day – Lived Experience Talk
Join the City of Vincent to celebrate Wear it Purple Day, with a talk by LGBTIQA+ youth advocate Allie Messenger.
Wear It Purple Day is held to support for LGBTIQA+ young people and take a stand against bullying and harassment of people based on their sexuality, sex, or gender identity.
The theme for 2023 is “Write Your Story”, encouraging LGBTIQA+ youth to embrace their unique perspectives and share their stories with others. In celebration of this year’s theme, we’ve invited youth advocate Allie Messenger to share her own lived experience and provide insights into how we can all contribute to making our community a safe space and be an ally.
