Making the Switch to Reusable Sanitary Products

Making the Switch to Reusable Sanitary Products

Have you been considering a switch to reusable sanitary products but aren’t quite sure where to start or what the best option is for you?

Join us in the City of Vincent Library Lounge as we demystify reusable sanitary products.

Facilitated by Nabilla Antipas from Inspire Ripples, this workshop will explore the various types of reusable sanitary products available and how to choose the correct size for you. She will also share simple hacks for use and care of products, and will have a range of samples to view.

This is also a great workshop for anyone already using these products to get tips and tricks and explore further options such as menstrual cups, period underwear, light bladder leakage and incontinence underwear or cloth nursing pads.

Reusables can offer hundreds of dollars in cost savings each year when compared with single-use items.

The City of Vincent also offers residents a rebate of 50% of the cost of your reusable sanitary product purchase, up to a total rebate value of $50, making the switch even easier.

Everyday millions of single-use sanitary products, along with their wrappers and packaging, are sent to landfill.

Plastic Free July® is just around the corner, so there is no better time to take this small step and make a big difference in reducing your single-use plastic waste.

Presented by Nabilla Antipas on behalf of the City of Vincent and Switch Your Thinking.
