Be Gay, Do Craft

For young LGBTIQA+ folk Freedom Centre are now running a weekly art group in between their regular drop-in sessions.

Freedom Centre are hosting a series of creative and crafty activities while having supportive and educational discussions about mental health, queer issues and community.

The sessions run on Tuesdays from 4:30pm – 6:00pm and topics are grouped by an overarching program theme which will run for eight weeks.

Each week the group alternate between an Under 18s session (people aged 12-17) and an Over 18s session (ages 18-25).

‘Expression through Drag’ sessions will be running from 9 May to 27 June.

Over 18s session (18-25) 

• May 9
• May 23
• June 6
• June 20

Attendance at all four sessions is not compulsory, registration is advised before attendance at your first session.
