Attendance at Meetings

Meetings are held in the Council Chamber located upstairs in the City of Vincent Administration and Civic Centre, and physical distancing measures are in place. You can also continue to watch our meetings and briefings online. For details click here.

Procedure for Public Question Time - Changes due to COVID-19

Public questions and statements can be asked in person during public question time. Alternatively, you can submit these in writing to governance@vincent.wa.gov.au before 3pm on the day of the Briefing/Meeting, these will be raised and responded to during public question time if they relate to an item on the agenda.  If they do not relate to an item on the agenda they will answered outside of the meeting. Statements will not be read out.

Recording of Council Meetings

All Ordinary and Special Council Meetings are electronically recorded except when the Council resolves to go behind closed doors. All recordings are retained as part of the City's records in accordance with the General Disposal Authority for Local Government Records produced by the Public Records Office Live streaming of eMeetings is available on the City’s website here. A recording of the meeting will also be available to view on our website within 48 hours of the meeting.

Disclosure of Interests in Meetings

The Local Government Act 1995 (the Act) places specific obligations on elected members, local government employees and other persons involved in making decisions or giving advice on Council matters. Disclosures must be made by completing the PDF fillable forms below:

Completed disclosures must be emailed to governance@vincent.wa.gov.au by 3pm on the day of the Council proceeding (or by midday for Audit Committee meetings).
