We will be implementing the Laneway Lighting Improvement project to increase lighting in the laneway that runs parallel between Chelmsford Road and Grosvenor Road to attempt to reduce crime within the area. The laneway has been identified and selected in consultation with the WA Police and current crime statistics. The aim of this project is to provide pedestrians with an increased sense of safety while also reducing crime levels in the laneway with a particular focus on reducing the occurrence of graffiti.
