Beatty Park Indoor Changerooms

The City of Vincent is building new accessible changerooms next to the indoor pool at Beatty Park.

The Northern end changerooms, which have been closed due to safety reasons for many years, will be demolished and reconstructed on the pool deck to provide easy access for families and people with a disability.

The modern and multi-purpose facility will include general changerooms, unisex toilets, a universal accessible toilet, lockers, cleaner’s store and concourse changing boxes.

Community and sporting clubs which use Beatty Park Reserve will have access to a storage room at the bottom floor of the facility.

Project details

Works commenced in February 2024. The project is expected to be completed in early 2025.

The project has been designed to have minimal impact to the centre’s patrons and local residents.

During the works, the indoor pool and slides will remain open and there will be no impact on public parking.

There will be some noise from 7am – 5pm throughout the construction period, peaking during the demolition works which are due to take place between February and March.

Neighbouring streets, Farr Avenue and Swimming Lane in North Perth, may be subject to some road closures.
