After establishing as a commercial area in the late 19th century, North Perth Town Centre has reinvented itself a number of times. From commercial outpost, to bustling northern suburb with the state’s largest primary school, to the settling place for immigrants that have imbued the place with layers upon layers of cultural diversity. North Perth Town Centre is emerging as a vibrant and highly liveable destination. There are great challenges ahead, but also great opportunities.

Beatty Park Leisure Centre

Features indoor and outdoor pools, a 750sqm gym, group fitness studios, spa, sauna, steam room, creche, cafe and more. City of Vincent ratepayers are entitled to 10 per cent off membership fees.
Beatty Park Reserve

This sportsground has two floodlights and a playground. It is directly opposite Beatty Park Leisure Centre.

Charles Veryard Reserve

Town Centre Place Plan
The City of Vincent Town Centre Place Plans series has been developed as a set of ‘place based’ strategic action plans to guide the allocation of funding and resources in the City’s town centres. The Place Plans direct the City’s service units to deliver a range of place-based initiatives and enable the City to effectively support and coordinate change.
North Perth Town Centre Place Plan is Volume 02 in the Town Centre Place Plan series and will guide the implementation of all major initiatives in the North Perth Town Centre.

Smoke-Free Town Centre
The City of Vincent has introduced Fresh Air - You're Welcome: the Smoke-Free Town Centres project as part of its Public Health Plan.
This project aims to reduce community exposure to environmental tobacco smoke and create healthy environments, free from smoking and vaping in our entertainment precincts.
Parts of North Perth are now smoke-free.
