Loftus Street Cycle Path

Construction of the new shared path and protected lane on Loftus Street is now complete

The City of Vincent is pleased to announce the completion of separated bike lanes and a shared path on Loftus Street to make the road safer for cyclists and improve cycling connections in Vincent.

The lanes include a separated path with an average of 1.6m in the southbound lane and a 3 metre wide shared path on the northbound side which travels through parkland on Keith Frame Reserve and connects to the Richmond Safe Active Street.

In addition to increasing safety for cyclists, the project has improved cycling connections to and from Vincent destinations, including the Leederville Town Centre, City of Vincent Library and Local History Centre, Leederville train station, Leederville Oval, Beatty Park Leisure Centre, North Metropolitan TAFE and Aranmore Catholic College.
