Children and Young People Advisory Group
The Children and Young People Advisory Group is no longer active.
At the Ordinary Council Meeting on 16 November 2021, the City appointed Cr Alex Castle and Cr Ron Alexander to the Children and Young People Advisory Group for the period 1 January 2021 to 21 October 2023.
This group acted in an advisory capacity to identify, advocate for and explore ways of addressing the issues and needs of children and young people (up to 25 years of age) in the City.
The Children and Young People Advisory Group aimed to:
- Foster communication between schools and relevant community groups
- Support the needs of children and young people up to 25 years of age
- Replace the City's former School Principals Advisory Group
- Replace the City's former Youth Advisory Council
