At the Ordinary Council Meeting on 21 November 2023, Council appointed Cr Suzanne Worner, Cr Sophie Greer and Cr Ashley Wallace to the Arts Advisory Group for the period 21 November 2023 to 18 October 2025. Cr Worner is the Chair of this group.
The Arts Advisory Group plays an important role in encouraging and promoting Arts in the City of Vincent, particularly through the provision of expertise and opinion to the City regarding its public art commissions and percent for art acquisitions.
The objectives of the Arts Advisory Group are to act in an advisory capacity to advocate and promote arts in Vincent and to provide expert advice and recommendations to the City on arts projects in Vincent.
The Arts Advisory Group has been developed to efficiently review key focus areas:
- Minutes
- Murals
- Public Art and Percent for Art
- Art Collection
- Art Priorities and Art Strategy
- Vincent Film Project
