Everyone is welcome to join the Library - membership is free. To join the library bring along current proof of your name and address. We will also ask you to supply the name, phone number and address of an alternative contact who does not live at the same address as you.

Children under the age of 16 need the signature of a parent or guardian on their application for membership.

Travellers are welcome to join the Library on payment of a refundable deposit.


Your Membership Card

Please bring your card to the Library whenever you visit, as you cannot use our services without it. 

If your card is lost or stolen, please notify the Library immediately to avoid liability for unauthorised use.

For lost cards, a replacement card can be obtained at a cost of $10.50 per card, or $21 for a family set of cards. 

If your card has been stolen, please provide us with the police report number. A replacement card will be issued free of charge.


Resources Available

You can borrow from a wide range of material in English and other languages and formats, including large print, DVDs, audiobooks, music CDs, magazines and jigsaw puzzles. You can search from home using the Online Catalogue and reserve items by entering your library card barcode number.

We currently have more than 50,000 items to choose from, for all ages, updated weekly. (Look for our displays of what is new!) We have specialised Children's and Young Adults services, as well as a Housebound Delivery Service for those physically unable to make it to the Library.

There are eBooks, eAudiobooks and eMagazines available for Download from our eLibrary Digital Resources.


You may borrow a total of 12 items for 3 weeks. This can be a combination of up to:

12 books
12 magazines
12 jigsaw puzzles
12 music CDs
12 DVDs
 6 CD-ROMs
 12 audio discs/books on CD
 6 Playaway Pods

Items can be renewed up to two times each, as long as the item is not reserved or long overdue. You can renew online through our Online Catalogue.

In addition you may Download eBooks, eAudiobooks and eMagazines from the following collections:

City of Vincent eLibrary - a total of 4 eBooks and/or eAudiobooks for up to 2 weeks at a time.

Western Australia Public Libraries Digital Media Collection - a total of 10 eBooks and/or eAudiobooks for up to 3 weeks at a time.

Zinio- unlimited eMagazines with no time limit

Bolinda BorrowBox- a total of 4 eAudiobooks and/or eBooks for 2 weeks at a time.

Please Note: Items cannot be borrowed while you have overdue items or fees outstanding.

A charge will be made for the replacement of lost/damaged cards or library stock, an administration fee will apply for refunds on lost items.

An administration fee will be charged once a mail notice is sent out for overdue items.
