Verge Valet service review

The City of Vincent is seeking feedback on the Verge Valet™ service.

Verge Valet is a flexible bulk waste collection service for households which can be pre-booked at any time. It has taken the place of a traditional bulk waste collection which took place on a set date each year.

Vincent residents are entitled to one free Verge Valet collection each year which can include items like mattresses, white goods and electronics.

As we near the end of a two-and-a-half-year Verge Valet trial, we are asking if residents would like to see it stay.

The service aims to reduce the amount of waste collected and increase recycling, and the trial is showing better outcomes than through the bulk verge collection system.

Feedback from users during this time has been positive too.

We are now interested to hear from everyone, even if they haven’t used the service yet – as it is important for us to understand why.

Community feedback will be included in a report to inform Council on the outcome of the trial.

Visit Imagine Vincent to find out more and have your say. Survey closes 4pm, Tuesday 7 May 2024.
