The Friends of ANZAC Cottage have partnered with the Australian War Animal Memorial organisation to create a memorial for animals who have assisted and protected out defense forces in times of conflict. 

A plaque donated by the Australian War Animal Memorial Organisation will be unveiled at a ceremony 1:45pm-3:30pm, Sunday, 10 September at ANZAC Cottage, 38 Kalgoorlie St, Mt Hawthorn. The display will also have information from various groups that work with and care for animals in our community.
