Ward and Representation Review

Published on Monday, 19 November 2018 at 1:49:22 PM

The City of Vincent is undertaking a statutory review of our current ward system and we invite you to have your say.

Under the Local Government Act 1995, the City should review its wards from time to time and at least every eight years. The current ward system and its boundaries were last reviewed in 2010.

The City has two wards (North and South) with four Councillors elected for each ward, and a Mayor elected at large. The current ward boundaries are outlined below.

A discussion paper has been prepared that outlines the City's current ward system, the review process and options for change. To read the discussion paper and share your thoughts, visit Imagine Vincent below. Submissions can also be emailed to mail@vincent.wa.gov.au and titled 'Ward Review', hand delivered or posted to us at 244 Vincent Street, Leederville WA or PO Box 82 Leederville 6902.
