Please be advised of upcoming road works as part of the City’s 2020/21 Road Resurfacing Program.
All affected residents will receive notification by post in advance of nearby works.

Brisbane Street, from Stirling Street to Bulwer Street | Perth
Date: Saturday 12 and Sunday 13 September 2020
Time: 7am - late afternoon (weather permitting)
Type of works: scarify and asphalt overlay
Road closures will be in place on Brisbane Street (Stirling to Bulwer) on both days, with no vehicle access permitted during works. Full access details are as follows:
- Brisbane Street – Stirling to Bulwer: no vehicle access during works
- Brisbane Street – Stirling to Beaufort: access via Brisbane Street Car Park
- Lacey Street – Brisbane to Brewer: from Brewer Street end only
- Pier Street – Brewer to Brisbane: from Brewer Street end only
- Stirling Street – south of Brisbane Street: Access to and from Stirling Street south of Brisbane Street via Brewer, Parry – Newcastle Streets, with a temporary turn around area provided before the roundabout
- Stirling Street North of Brisbane Street: via Bulwer and Greenway Streets
Newcastle Street night works, from Beaufort Street to Lord Street | Perth
Date: Monday 21 - Wednesday 23 September 2020
Time: 7pm - 6am (weather permitting)
Type of works: profiling and asphalting of the eastbound lanes of Newcastle Street
Access to residents and businesses on the northern side of Newcastle Street will be restricted during the works. Residents and businesses on the southern side of Newcastle Street will be able to enter and exit their properties from Newcastle Street in a westbound direction only.
To enable the works to proceed smoothly the eastbound lane and median lane will be closed to traffic from approximately 7pm to 6am on the nominated dates. While access to your property will be restricted during these operations it will be restored at the end of each shift.
Parking on the north side of Newcastle Street will be banned throughout the entire work dates to avoid any conflicts that may prevent works proceeding.
If you need your vehicle during the works can you please ensure that it is moved out of the work zone prior to 7pm until the works are completed.
Please note that Profiling works may cause some dust and residents are advised to ensure windows are closed and evaporative air conditioners are not in use while works are being completed.
