The City of Vincent recently entered a team of staff in the 2018 Australasian Management Challenge. This annual Challenge has been at the forefront of professional development in local government in Australia and New Zealand for more than 20 years, in which time thousands of local government professionals have had the opportunity to participate, grow, be challenged and learn alongside their team members and peers.
The City of Vincent Team competed against 13 other WA Local Government teams and we’re extremely proud to announce they were named winners of the Western Australian round of the challenge!
The team will now go on to represent Western Australia and the City of Vincent against all other state and territory winners from Australia and New Zealand at the Australasian Final.
Mayor Emma Cole said “I am thrilled that our team led the way in the WA round of the challenge and look forward to the team proudly representing the City and the State later this year. Councillors and I are all very proud of the team for this fantastic achievement”.
“This is only the second time the City of Vincent has entered a team in the Australasian Management Challenge and to receive this recognition is no easy feat.
I’m incredibly proud of the team for the passion, creativity, collaboration and leadership they demonstrated, which are the same characteristics we see in teams across our organisation every single day," said Len Kosova, CEO.
