Everyone is welcome to join us for a community celebration to launch the RAP on 27 May 2017 10am-12pm at Weld Square.
The Launch of the Reflect RAP will celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the 1967 Referendum where more than 90% of Australian voters chose ‘yes’ to count Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in the census and give the Australian Government the power to make laws for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
The event is an open community celebration with food, entertainment, the creation of a commemorative artwork and a live broadcast by Noongar Radio.
