Leedy Streets Open

Leedy Streets Open will close down the Leederville Town Centre to cars and open it into a space for family fun every Sunday from 11 February – 4 March.

Local businesses will be spilling out onto Oxford Street and bring the town centre alive. There will be roving entertainment, music, special retailer offers and family activities for everyone to enjoy.

"Leedy Streets Open begins this Sunday, and transforms the heart of Leederville into a place for people, not cars. Over the next four Sundays, the City of Vincent has teamed up with the Fringe Festival and Leederville Connect to bring together some really exciting and unique events onto the streets to maximise the street party atmosphere," said Mayor Emma Cole.

"We trialled this last March, and the response from the local community, traders and visitors was really positive, with data showing more people came to Leederville and lingered longer.

“With the fantastic line up of events happening in Leederville over the next few weeks, we're expecting this year to be even bigger and better," she said.
