If you are in the Leederville Town Centre Friday nights between 10pm to 2am then say hello to the team at the ‘chill out zone’ street van near Frame Court Car Park and Oxford Street Reserve.

We are partnering with Hope Community Services to provide outreach services and encourage people in the area to take care of each other and stay safe. The chill out zone is a safe space for people who need some time out, a snack or a bottle of water, to charge their phone or help organising a way to get home.

The aim of this initiative is to provide people with a safe and fun space to rest or seek help, to encourage responsible drinking and to improve safety and amenity of the Leederville Town Centre on Friday nights.

The chill out zone will run every Friday from 10pm to 2am Saturday (excluding Australia Day) over summer. If you have any questions contact the Community Partnerships team on 9273 6000 or community.partnerships@vincent.wa.gov.au.
