Dogs in Public Places

Published on Thursday, 14 June 2018 at 4:00:00 PM

Did you know that the City of Vincent local dog law allows for dogs to enter public places and private businesses? With the exception of indoor areas of cafes, bars and restaurants, business owners can choose whether to allow dogs in.

Planet Books

Anthea and Haydn Robinson have been the proud owners of Planet Books for the past 12 years and have always kindly welcomed dogs into their store. Anthea brings her dog Kola to work with her every day and loves to see customers browsing alongside their pooch.

Planet Books is just one of many Vincent businesses that are dog-friendly and have a 'dogs welcome' sticker in their window.

Next time you and your dog are out for a stroll, keep an eye out for our dogs welcome window stickers or simply ask the business owner if you can come in with your dog.
