The Earth Carers training course is a 5-session program including excursions and practical demonstrations. We will cover:

• Definition and history of waste;
• How we deal with waste in Perth and how your local government manages waste in your neighbourhood;
• Reducing, reusing and recycling options;
• Tour of landfill site, recycling centre and composting facility;
• Demonstrations of reusing organics including worm farming, composting and small space composting;
• How to communicate the responsible waste message to others.

You will be inspired, overwhelmed, depressed and empowered often all at the same time!
