Computers for Seniors : Basic Computer Skills

Past Event

The Library & Local History Centre hosts monthly two hour workshops targeted at people with limited or no computer experience.

Our August topic is basic computer skills.  From Desktop to Control Panel:  Learn how to uninstall programs, find documents/pictures, and about wifi settings.  We will also be demonstrating how hackers access your computer after you clicked on a malicious link, and recap on things you should or should not have saved on your device.  If you have a laptop, please bring this with you.

Attendees will have hands on access to our computers as well.

Workshops are limited to 15 attendees and bookings are essential.
