National Broadband Network (nbn)

nbnnetwork construction has begun in City of Vincent

The nbn™ network is Australia’s new fast and reliable landline phone and internet network. It’s designed to connect Australians to each other, and connect Australia to the world.

Construction of the nbn™ network has started in parts of Highgate, Mount Lawley and North Perth to connect almost 6,000 premises to the nbn™ fixed line network. Construction is scheduled to move to more than 11,000 premises in Perth, East Perth and West Perth from the first quarter of 2018.

Locals can expect to see nbn contractors boring and digging trenches, as well as installing new pits, constructing cabinets, hauling, splicing and testing fibre cables.

Visit the NBN website here to enter your address and look up when the NBN is coming to you.
