The City of Vincent holds four citizenship Ceremonies per year with the next Citizenship Ceremony taking place in September, date to be confirmed.
A letter of invitation from the City is sent out to all eligible candidates approximately 6 weeks prior to the next ceremony date. Candidates must RSVP by the specified date to confirm a place at the ceremony.
Department of Immigration and Border Control will advise you direct by mail whether or not you have been successful.
If you are successful, then within four to six weeks after you have received your letter of confirmation, the Department will forward notification direct to the City by a Conferral list.
The Department aims to finalise citizenship applications within three months of lodgement, although complex applications may take longer.
