Filming within the City
Media organisations/industry seeking to film within Vincent should follow the below procedure.
Please note: our parks and halls (etc) are many - and they are in extremely high demand - hence, we require three weeks' notice for all bookings and payment must be made at least three weeks prior to the date of your booking. We do this to firm-up all bookings, so that other people don't miss out. Thanks everyone. Our Bookings Customer Service Officer, Godini, may be able to make exceptions for special circumstances, especially for filming.
1) Contact our Marketing and Public Relations Officer for an initial chat to obtain permission from a public relations perspective, on (08) 9273 6011 or via email at: email@example.com
2) If you wish to film at a specific location, such as a hall, facility or park, you will need to check if it's available. Please contact our Bookings Customer Service Officer, Godini, on (08) 9273 6565. Please note that hire fees may apply and all requests are subject to approval and compatibility with existing bookings.
3) Then you need to contact the Senior Ranger to obtain a filming permit, on (08) 9273 6038. Please be aware that you will require proof of public liability insurance and a traffic management plan in order to film within the City, either in public places or at any of the City's parks, halls or facilities. Filming Permits will need to be obtained especially if roads need to be closed, footpaths obstructed etc (a minimum of 48 hours is required and requests must be received on weekdays).
