Rangers & Community Safety

The Ranger and Community Safety Services team play an integral role in contributing  to a safer Vincent, offering a range of community safety initiatives for residents, businesses and properties. Rangers' duties are diverse and include upholding State enactments and local laws.

Rangers  provide a reassuring presence in our streets, parks and public spaces and, along with enforcement, also have an educational role. When out and about Rangers can be approached as the point of contact for residents, businesses and visitors for City information. Rangers also act as important  ‘eyes on the street’, reporting any anti-social or criminal behaviour they observe to WA Police (on 131 444 or 000 if an emergency).

The Co-ordinator Safer Vincent works closely within Ranger and Community Safety Services and in partnership with the community, businesses,  government and non-government agencies, to deliver a comprehensive range of community safety services.
