The City of Vincent is situated on the land of the Wadjuk Nyoongar people, the Nyoongar people remain the traditional and cultural custodians of this land.

There are 9 registered Aboriginal sites falling on or within the boundary of the City. The register of sites is identified and managed by the Department of Aboriginal Affairs.
